Years ago, I reached a peak of enlightenment in my life. I wasn't aware of how much tension my body held until I received a full body massage. I felt aching, pain that was just lurking like a monster under the bed. I knew it existed, but perhaps I ignored it for so many years that eventually, I got used to carrying it around with me. I suffered from back pain for years and all of my tension was in my legs. I had no idea! My mind must have been so busy that I had programmed myself to ignore pain...

Getting a massage taught me a lot about myself. I learned that I was emotionally shut off from the world. I learned that I was holding in a lot of stress and tension. I learned that I needed to find an outlet to free myself consistently. It wasn’t up to anyone but me to put my mess in order. I decided that I wanted to transform my life.I learned that I repeatedly and consistently would have to keep growing and improving myself.

 

I had to "be the change I wanted to see in the world."
